LG telah merilis pengganti ponsel LG GM730, dengan adanya LG GM750 atau Layla. Ponsel LG GM750 Layla tersebut merupakan smartphone dengan system operasi Windows Mobile 6.5 yang slim dan berdimensi 109.8x 56.5 x 11.9 mm, juga termasuk fasilitas camera autofocus 5 megapiksel, dengan menggunakan lensa optic asal Jerman Schneider-Kreuznach. Handphone LG GM750 Layla ini memiliki resolusi display 240х400 piksel. Fasilitas lainnya berupa Wi-Fi, GPS dan akselerometer, untuk ponsel LG GM750 Layla ini yang akan hadir di kuarter ketiga 2009, walaupun belum diketahui berapa harga pastinya dari ponsel ini. LG juga menambah bonus fitur di ponsel ini seperti fungsi “Chat on the Map”, yang memudahkan user untuk bisa memantau lokasi geografis dari lokasi dimana mereka sedang chat.
